Sultry and Stunning

Hey Hey! I'm super excited to share this amazing makeup transformation with you all! I had the pleasure of working with such a sweet and beautiful person. 

We decided on a smokey look and OMG it turned out perfect on her! Also the foundation match was incredible. I used Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk in 7.5 (isn't it crazy how well her skin can handle the deeper foundation color?!) She has olive undertones so this warm, smokey look was fantastic on her. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, am I right?! I used the original Too Faced Chocolate palette for the eyes, Kat Von D's contour palette, Nars Radiant creamy concealer in color Ginger for the highlighted areas, Ben Nye's banana powder to set highlighted areas, and Kat Von D's liquid lipstick color in Lolita. She loved the lip color and I agree that it suits her incredibly well! For the actual highlight, I used the Carli Bybel palette. I think I covered the main products that I used on her.

Bronzed, Brawn, and Beautiful!

Hey there my lovely people! Can you believe that I'm already posting again?! I'm glad to say that I have a great makeup transformation to share with you all! The canvas was so beautiful to start with so it was super easy to create a masterpiece!

Meet this wonderful woman, who is funny, strong-- mentally, emotionally, and physically, and not to mention a total rockstar! She is the embodiment of positive body image and a beautiful soul. She coaches people to reach their fitness goals and to empower them to feel strong from within! I've had firsthand experience with that: she coached me to work on my deadlift technique and made me feel so confident in my progress. When I first started at my gym, I would notice how strong she was physically, but after speaking to her, I was even more impressed with how down to earth and supportive she was! I'm so glad I get to call her my friend!

For the makeup look I went with a bronzed smokey eye with slight shimmer on the lids, using the Tarte In Bloom Palette. I used Gerard Cosmetic's Cher liquid lipstick to compliment the bronze and mauve tones. For the highlight, I used the Carli Bybel palette--one of my favorite affordable highlighters to use! For brows, I used a tinted brow gel from Eyeko. I think that's all the major hitters, but if you are curious about anything else, please leave a comment, and I will get back to you!

Smize the Night Away!

Hello my lovelies! I know it's been too long since my last post, and to be honest, I'm not even sure what was stopping me. I had done this beautiful woman's makeup about two weeks ago and didn't push myself to actually write on the blog so I know I'll have to do a better job next time! 

On a brighter note, I've made some amazing new friends and now my social life is so much more fulfilling! I've also been continuing on my fitness journey. As some of you know, I have a 20 month old son, and since giving birth to him, I wasn't very active and gained a lot of weight. So rewind to March of 2016, I was watching TLC (600lb Life) and I saw a mom on there who was so sad that she couldn't be active for her son. It just clicked in my head that I needed to make some changes in my life. I won't go into all the details now (please let me know if you'd be interested in reading about what specific changes I've made for my weight loss, I'd be more than happy to share). My point was that I joined a gym and met some awesome ladies who completely understand me and are so much fun to be around! The gym brings people together---yay for fitness and friends!!!

Without further ado, here is my new beautiful friend that I had the chance to put makeup on. She normally doesn't wear too much makeup she told me, so I wanted to go for a smokey date night look for her. She was so excited for the eyelashes part and I'm so happy that it turned out how she wanted! Doesn't she have the most beautiful, hypnotizing eyes?! I think she definitely knows how to SMIZE---smile with the eyes! We had some fun doing this photoshoot, hence notice the different lighting and "wardrobe changes" lol.
